Join the bookstore family for our first ever off-site event, an exciting landmark program with our friends at The Creative Independent (a brand new venture!), showcasing our favorite performers and celebrating the intersection of creativity and service. The New York Times' Magazine's Jazmine Hughes will emcee the evening, where you'll experience... remarks from HWBC boardmembers & friends, readings, musical sets, an interactive drawing wall & photobooth led by our friend Adam J. Kurtz, a book signing with Adam and the other authors, and a specially-curated mini-bookstore selected by our bookstore staff and volunteers. Oh, and free booze.
